Youth Fundraiser Breakfast - POSTPONED 

The Fundraiser Breakfast after church that was scheduled for this coming Sunday, March 1 has been postponed.  We will keep you posted as to when it will be rescheduled.  

IMPACT, our local faith-based justice ministry network, held its annual Rally Monday night to hear a progress report on work being done to address the issues of affordable housing, transit wait times, and neighborhood violence. You can read a re-cap here.  Be sure to mark your calendar to attend the Nehemiah Action on Tuesday, March 24, 6:30pm at Charlottesville High School MLK-PAC.

Choir Rehearsal is on Wednesdays at 6:45 pm.  All are welcome. 

Adult Sunday School is studying Being United Methodist by J. Ellsworth Kalas. 

New Membership Orientation

We will start having a New Membership Orientation on Sundays at 11:30 am, beginning with Sunday, March 1 thru Sunday, March 22.

Devotion Booklets
Lenten devotional Booklets are available in the Narthex as you enter the Sanctuary.  Once again, The Society of St Andrew has supplied our booklets. We will be collecting money to send to this organization to help offset the cost of the booklets.  There will be collections jars with the booklets that you may leave your donations in.

HUNGER MINISTRY

Please remember to bring in your canned soup for the remaining weeks in February and just a teaser for March, we are going GREEN. 

Feeding Greene is collecting egg cartons again.  Please leave any egg cartons (dozen size) you would like to donate in the West Wing foyer.  Thanks for your help with this important food ministry!

CEDARS NURSING HOME MINISTRY

Our nursing home is in need of large print word search books and radios (prefer those that are not battery operated) and they do not need to be new.  If you have these items, please leave them at the entrance to the West Wing. 

On March 20th at 2pm we will celebrate Spring with the residents.  We need some volunteers to help make decorations ahead of time and then anyone that is available to help serve that day.  

Special Music.  Each Sunday of Lent, we will be singing "A Wilderness Wandering People".

Youth Cookbooks.  The Cookbooks are available for purchase for $20 during Sip & Chat as well as in the church office during office hours.  All funds raised will fuel the journey and development of our Confirmation Class of 2026.
