We at Ivy Creek UMC have exciting news regarding our 2025 Vacation Bible School! We are going to a weekend format on July 26 and 27. Over the course of the weekend, we will cover four individual sessions from 9:00am to 2:30pm with lunch provided both days. We welcome children from Pre-K through 5th Grade.
At Ivy Creek Camp Compassion VBS this summer, your students will enjoy an interactive, energizing, Bible-based good time on their summer camp adventure with God. They will learn the importance of compassion and loving kindness as shown throughout the Bible. Experiencing stories of Miriam and Moses, Elijah, and the Good Samaritan as well as Pentecost, they will see that loving ourselves, others in our lives, as well as the world God created for us draws us closer to God.
Opening Assembly time includes a Bible Story and an Interactive Bible lesson that reveals the focus of each session. Your campers will discover the link between the Bible story and the importance of kindness and compassion in our walk with God and each other.
The students will expand on what they’ve discovered by making their own art projects at the Craft Station, singing new songs at the Music Station, playing games at the Recreation Station, and enjoying tasty treats at the Snack Station. We will have a bounce house on Sunday afternoon to wrap up the weekend.
Along the way, campers will hear about our mission project which is to collect baby care items for a local non-profit, Stepping Stones, that distribute these materials to needy families.
