• Joseph Hearn was born on November 10, 1873 in Seaford, Delaware
• His first appointment was in the West Charlottes Circuit, Lynchburg District
• He married Annie Merideth on June 6, 1894 and they had 2 children:  Robert Maxey Hearn & Elizabeth Merideth Hearn
• He died on Thanksgiving Day, November 25, 1926 in Petersburg, VA
• Pastor Hearn is described as a man who “took great interest in the Sunday schools of his charges” and “made friends fast and strong.”
