Sarah’s Circle is a group of ladies that meets on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month (September through May) at 11:30am for lunch, fellowship, and special programs.

Programs include Bible studies, visits from missionaries, visits from local agencies, and other items of interest.  This group is very active at Ivy Creek.   They are often called upon to provide meals for events such as feeding the men from PACEM and the interns from Project Transformation.  They also have a card ministry to send cards to members and friends of the church who are ill or grieving.  They hold bake sales to raise funds to donate to various causes such as the Samaritan Fund (Virginia United Methodist Homes), the Hermitage Fund, the Santa Fund, JABA, missionaries to Mozambique and Brazil, the Table and Chair fund at Ivy Creek, sending a camper to Westview and many others.  They also sewed and assembled over a dozen UMCOR school kits that were delivered to Annual Conference this past June.  They also provide an entire Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings to a local family in need each November.  If you would like more information or wish to confirm meeting times please call the church office .
