 A Charlottesville native is a hard thing to find in this area, but that's the story on our Administrative Assistant, Evelyn Yancey Jones. So, it's amazing that she found her way to our neck of the woods.
Educated as an elementary education major, she has only spent a short time teaching but has had a wide and varied career to include personnel administration, bank manager, group home manager and event planner and office manager for a large local non-profit.
Evelyn is a member of First United Methodist Church where she serves as Lay Minister for Outreach. She is primarily responsible for connecting with community agencies, building relationship and creating opportunities that not only provide fish but teach people how to fish.
She is single and has one brother who lives in Silver Spring, Maryland.
